Jim Loussaert

Our club’s “First Spouse”, Jim is a chemist and materials scientist currently serving as a Process Development Principal Scientist for Amgen Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa and University of California, Irvine. Jim joined the Rebellion in 2014, and was named to the Board the following year. He served five years as the club’s Fundraising Chair, after which he shifted focus to the organization’s social footprint, spearheading our club’s charitable giving, volunteerism, and regional pride engagement. Now retired from full time play, Jim serves as a Referee for the Southern California Rugby Referees Society. Married to our President since 2012, Jim can most often be found playing DnD, watching cartoons, devising complicated recipes using science, or playing with their dog Appa.
