Eric Anderson
Eric Anderson is a writer, producer, and nonprofit leader on the intersection of sports, inclusion, and community/youth engagement. Now in his seventh year as President and CEO of Rebellion Rugby, he concurrently serves as Director of Advancement for Rugby LA, recently named a 2024 Project Play Champion by the Aspen Institute. As a nonprofit executive, Eric has developed educational programs and campaigns in partnership with MTV, A+E Networks, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Verizon, and the US Departments of Education and Justice, and has spoken as a panelist for conferences hosted by Hazelden Publishing, the US Department of Education, and the United Nations.
Eric is the Creator and Executive Producer of RUGBY WIVES, a new dramedy series premiering in 2025. He is the Original Producer of bare: the musical (LA 2000, Off Broadway 2004), for which his work garnered awards from the LA Weekly, LA Drama Critics Circle, and the Theatre League of Los Angeles; and is a 2001 GLAAD Media Award nominee.
A graduate of Louisiana State University and the USC Thornton School of Music, Eric married Volunteerism Chair Jim Loussaert in 2012 and has been a proud OG Rebellion RugBAE since 2015.
