Member Code of Conduct

Rebellion Rugby is a fully inclusive organization, positively affirming all sexual and gender identities, racial and ethnic backgrounds, body types, and experience levels in sport.

All members must follow the regulations of USA Rugby, US SafeSport, and Rebellion Rugby in their behavior towards:

  • Other members, volunteers and staff
  • Opposing clubs and their supporters
  • Referees


Strictly Prohibited Behavior

  • Racist, homophobic, transphobic or other discriminatory/offensive language or behavior
  • Bullying, hazing, or acts of physical violence
  • Theft of Rebellion Rugby property
  • Using club communication or public social media to harass, intimidate, or abuse another individual
  • Sexual harassment, misconduct, or non-consensual behavior

Rebellion Rugby reserves the right to suspend, revoke, or deny membership at any time for violations of these rules or of SafeSport guidelines.

Dues and Fees

  • All players must register with USA Rugby and pay associated fees.
    New players do not need to register until completing Rugby 101.
  • Annual membership dues are required:
    • $240 for first-year members
    • $300 for returning members
    • Payment due in full by October 1, 2025, or in three equal installments (October-December).
  • All dues and fees are non-refundable.
  • A 50% waiver is available for individuals who are enrolled in college, unemployed, or facing financial hardship.

Health & Safety Requirements

Rebellion Rugby is a pro-vaccination, pro-science organization.

  • Players are required to be vaccinated for Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR).
  • Players are strongly encouraged to stay up to date with COVID-19, MPox, and flu vaccines.

Media Release and Usage

By signing this release, you grant permission to Rebellion Rugby to capture your likeness in photos or videos during sanctioned activities or scheduled shoots. This may be used in marketing, promotional strategies, and monetized social media channels.


Rules for Media Use

  • Member-created photos/videos of Rebellion activities are for personal use only and may not be repurposed, monetized, sold, or shared with media outlets without prior approval from Rebellion Rugby’s executive leadership.
  • All official Rebellion photos/videos may not be distributed externally without permission from Rebellion Rugby’s executive leadership.
  • Requests for member participation in third-party videos, photo shoots, or media interviews must be approved by Rebellion Rugby’s executive leadership.
